Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf Rules Out Retirement On His 65th Birthday

The Local reports Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf has stated that he has no plans to retire, despite the occasion of his 65th birthday on Saturday.

"It is tradition that the Monarch carries on in his duties as long as he is of a sound mind", he told news agency TT in an interview on Tuesday.

The King doesn’t think that turning 65 is such an important anniversary, despite it being retirement age in Sweden, and he has no plans to cut down on work hours in the near future.

"I have no intention to start feeding the birds yet, in any case", he said.

Democracy can only be guaranteed and preserved through Constitutional Monarchy.

UFO Hovered Over Westminster Abbey

The Sun reports a tourist filmed a UFO hovering over Westminster Abbey - where the Royal Wedding took place.

It seems to move and shift shape - but to have three sections, like the starship USS Enterprise from TV's Star Trek.

UFO researcher George Filer said mystery craft were often spotted during major world events.

He claimed he had already been tipped off by RAF pilots about an increasing number of recent sightings over the English Channel.

Filer added: "They seem to have an interest in anything important".

Filer told AOL News: "The craft seem to have an interest in anything important. They’ve been sighted recently over Libya and near the Japanese tsunami".

Filer actually knew a month ago there would be UFO sightings at the Royal Wedding.



British UFO expert Nick Pope, who worked for the Ministry of Defense, took this seriously and as a possible threat against the Royals.

BBC News reports Prince William and Kate Middleton have been pronounced man and wife at Westminster Abbey.

At the altar Prince William told Kate Middleton: "You look beautiful".

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Rowan Williams, conducted the wedding ceremony, which saw Kate Middleton vow to "love, comfort, honor and keep" Prince William.

Prince William has been given the title of the Duke of Cambridge by the Queen, and Kate Middleton becomes Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Prince also becomes the Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus, which means Kate Middleton becomes the Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.

Prime Minister David Cameron said the Royal Wedding is time to celebrate the role of the British Monarchy, and added the Royal Wedding represents "the best of Britain", according to The Telegraph.

Terror Attack At A Café In Marrakesh

France 24 reports a bomb blast killed at least 15 people at a café in Marrakesh’s tourist-filled main square of Jamaa el-Fna on Thursday.

State television reported that there were 10 foreigners among the casualties, six of which were identified as French nationals.

This terror attack is likely to hurt Morocco’s tourism trade.

"You can’t find a more emblematic target than Jamaa el-Fna square", said a Frenchman who owns a restaurant in the city.

Halim Saidi, a doctor at Marrakesh’s Ibn Tofail Hospital, said one French national died before reaching the hospital and a second foreigner died while undergoing treatment.

He said 18 of the wounded had been brought to his hospital, including eight Moroccans, seven French, and two Swiss citizens.

A masked speaker, who identified himself as Abu Abdulrahman, said the planned attacks were to avenge the detention of Islamists by Moroccan authorities.

The office of French President Nicolas Sarkozy condemned the attack as "cruel and cowardly", according to BBC News.

The Antichrist is recognized by some specific characteristics.

The Antichrist "shall divide the land (Israel) for gain", see Daniel 11:39.

Pastor Terry Jones Imprisoned To Prevent Detroit Koran Burning

The Telegraph reports the US Pastor, whose burning of a Koran sparked deadly violence in Afghanistan, was briefly jailed in a heavily Islamic suburb on Friday after a court banned his protest outside a mosque.

A local judge jailed Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, Florida, and his associate Wayne Sapp, after a court found their planned protest outside the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Michigan, could lead to violence.

Controversial Florida Pastor Terry Jones insisted that his right to protest against Islam was protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

During his court appearance, Pastor Jones argued that the Koran "promotes terrorist activities around the world".

"The First Amendment does us no good if it confines us to saying what is popular", Pastor Jones pointed out.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad testified that his department had received information about serious threats made against Pastor Jones from local residents, and argued that his protest could lead to violence if allowed.

Prosecutor Robert Moran argued that the protest had nothing to do with the First Amendment and at stake were security and peace in the community.

The jury sided with the prosecution and Judge Mark Somers set bond at the symbolic amount of $1 each for the two Pastors, which they initially refused to pay.

Following their refusal, both were escorted to a local jail. But local media reported both men changed their minds after spending about an hour behind bars and posted the $1 bond.

Under the judge's ruling, both Pastor Jones and Mr Sapp are now prohibited by the court from going to the mosque for three years.

But Pastor Jones was quoted by The Detroit Free Press as saying the two "will come back next week" to try to organize a new protest.

Pastor Jones and Mr Sapp made international headlines after their ceremonial "trial and execution" of the Koran by burning led to deadly protests in Afghanistan.

Last month's Koran burning unleashed protests across Afghanistan, some of which were violent.

Seven UN staff were killed during one protest in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif on April 1.

Overall, more than 20 people have been killed.

"Islam is not a religion of peace", Pastor Jones said in an earlier statement.

He added: "The time has come to hold Islam accountable".

Pastor Jones said that Muslim-dominated countries could no longer be allowed to spread their hate against Christians and minorities.

"They must alter the laws that govern their countries to allow for individual freedoms and rights, such as the right to worship, free speech, and to move freely without fear of being attacked or killed", Pastor Jones stated.

A few days ago Israel National News reported terrorists broke in into Corfu's only Synagogue and burned the community's Torah scrolls and prayer books.

Top Astronomers Warn The World Could End Within 90 Years

Stv.tv reports two top astronomers claim the end of the world is nigh.

Lord Martin Rees, the Astronomer Royal, believes civilization has only a 50 percent chance of surviving to 2100 without suffering a man-made catastrophe.

And the Astronomer Royal for Scotland, Professor John Brown, has an equally bleak outlook, fearing a random event from outer space is the most likely cause of our demise.

Despite having widely differing views, these two titans of astronomy between them offer global warming, over-population, terrorism, an asteroid falling to Earth and a solar blast as potential reasons to panic.

We should listen to these guys, and I remember Scotland is also the Israeli tribe of Levi.

Prof Brown told the Scotsman: "The threats Lord Rees and myself will be talking about are dangerous in different ways. Asteroids fall to earth on average 10-100 million years apart. It's been 65 million years since the last one, so one could happen next week to 60 million years from now".

Lord Rees said: "We can't rule out by mid-century a global political realignment heading to a stand-off between new superpowers, that could be handled less well or less luckily than the Cuban missile crisis was".

The Bible says in Matthew 24:22: "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened".

Thus we should be thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the Jews, who save mankind.

"Salvation is of the Jews", according to John 4:22.

Jesus Christ will rule and reign from Jerusalem for 1.000 years, see Revelation 20:4, so there will be survivors.

And then the Lord will be recommissioned and we will rule and reign with Him forever and forever, see Revelation 22:5.

There will be 8.000 more years of wars, see Revelation 2:10, so there will be major catastrophes, but they will not mean the end.

But we should of course plan for an evacuation of our planet and find new safe places for mankind.

According to John 14:2 - 3 our destination is Heaven.

Planet Earth is our cradle, but not our final destination.

Mankind must colonize space or eventually face extinction.

Mankind is mankind's worst enemy.

Some celestial body may cause the problem, but our own technology will likely finish the job.

Some humans may survive.

The question is; will humanity survive?

Well, with our Lord God Jesus Christ, never count the human race out.

Furthermore, Ephesians 3:21 says the world is without end, and this verse is supported by Ecclesiastes 1:4.

Pope Benedict XVI Warns Of Falling Belief In The West

Reuters reports Pope Benedict lamented the widespread abandonment of religion in Western countries in a Holy Thursday homily, saying the heartlands of Christianity were turning away from their faith.

The 84-year-old German-born pontiff said it sometimes seemed as if the West had become bored by its own history and culture.

Pope Benedict said today during a ceremony in St. Peters Basilica: "Have not we - the people of God - become to a large extent a people of unbelief and distance from God?".

The Pope asked: "Is it perhaps the case that the West, the heartlands of Christianity, are tired of their faith?".

The Pope asks very good questions, and there is indeed a great falling away from the Christian faith, sadly enough.

There are even people from different Churches preaching and teaching erroneous, even demonic doctrines, prophesying falsely and overtly misleading multitudes of people, mostly for the sake of financial gain or media coverage.

Today, the Holy Bible is widely forgotten and seldom read.

What is the sacred word of God is unfortunately often regarded as fables or obsolete stories.

The enemies of God will always try to find some contradictory Bible verses to say that the whole Bible was made up and that it doesn't in any way represent the truth.

The Latin language is likewise unfortunately often despised.

In Matthew, chapter 24 and verses 4-12, the Lord Jesus Christ warns us all about this.

Eurogroup Chief: "I'm For Secret, Dark Debates"

The EUobserver reports the Eurogroup chief and Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker, says all economic decisions should now be discussed behind closed doors.

He was speaking at a conference on economic governance organized by the European Movement when he made the comment.

The Eurogroup chief also said on Wednesday (20 April) he had often lied in his career to prevent the spread of rumours that could feed speculation.

Juncker says Eurozone economic policies should only be conducted in "dark secret rooms" to prevent dangerous movements in financial markets.

Jean-Claude Juncker says: "I'm ready to be insulted as being insufficiently democratic, but I want to be serious".

"I am for secret, dark debates", Juncker says, and he doesn't want any Ministers or EU leaders to discuss financial matters in public, because that would put "millions of people at risk".

I have for a long time warned that all this lack of transparency in our society, which maybe started with the secret UFO files, will result in the end of democracy.

It will be easy for the Antichrist to take over the whole world, because there are only a very limited few who are deemed to be worthy to be told what is going on.

In a recent interview with Playboy magazine, Thomas stated that Jews "are European" and that Jews have not been persecuted "since 1945" - ignoring the millions of Jews from the Middle East and north Africa, and their expulsion from their homes in the late 1940s and the 1950s, as well as the persecution of Jews in the Soviet Union, Ethiopia, and elsewhere in the second half of the twentieth century.

What Helen Thomas says is really horrible.

It can never be justified to kill innocent civilians.

The real Jews are the Jews who defend their country given to them by God, as stated in the Bible.

The Daily Mail reports of an uncovered letter written by John F Kennedy to the head of the CIA.

It shows that the President demanded to be shown highly confidential documents about UFOs 10 days before his assassination.

In a "burned memo" the CIA director allegedly wrote: "Lancer [JFK] has made some inquiries regarding our activities, which we cannot allow".

Today, the US President's demand would not be very controversial, because the hidden hierarchy above the US President is better protected.

For some reason the President’s interest in UFOs shortly before his death brought about his assassination.

The interest protected was deemed to be of a higher value than the interest of the American people.

Alien researchers say the latest documents, released to Mr Lester by the CIA, add weight to the suggestion that the President could have been shot to stop him discovering the truth about aliens and UFOs.

In the second memo, sent to the NASA administrator, the President expresses a desire for cooperation with the former Soviet Union on mutual outer space activities.

JFK’s interest in UFOs could have been fuelled by concerns about relations with the former Soviet Union.

Weekly World News reports Christians have long celebrated Jesus Christ's Last Supper on Thursday, but new research proves it took place on the Wednesday before the crucifixion.

Professor Colin Humphreys, a scientist at the University of Cambridge, believes it is all due to a calendar mix-up - and asserts his findings strengthen the case for finally introducing a fixed date for Easter.

Colin Humphreys uses a combination of biblical, historical, and astronomical research to try to pinpoint the precise nature and timing of Jesus's final meal with his disciples before his death.

Researchers have long been puzzled by an apparent inconsistency in the Bible.

While Matthew, Mark, and Luke all say the Last Supper coincided with the start of the Jewish festival of Passover, John claims it took place before Passover.

Humphreys has concluded in a new book, "The Mystery Of The Last Supper", that Jesus — along with Matthew, Mark, and Luke - may have been using a different calendar to John.

Humphreys said: "Whatever you think about the Bible, the fact is that Jewish people would never mistake the Passover meal for another meal, so for the Gospels to contradict themselves in this regard is really hard to understand".

Humphreys said: "Many biblical scholars say that, for this reason, you can't trust the Gospels at all. But if we use science and the Gospels hand in hand, we can actually prove that there was no contradiction".

In Humphreys' theory, Jesus went by an old-fashioned Jewish calendar rather than the official lunar calendar which was in widespread use at the time of his death and is still in use today.

This would put the Passover meal — and the Last Supper — on the Wednesday, explaining how such a large number of events took place between the meal and the crucifixion.

It would follow that Jesus' arrest, interrogation and separate trials did not all take place in the space of one night but in fact occurred over a longer period.

Humphreys believes a date could therefore be ascribed to Easter in our modern solar calendar, and working on the basis that the crucifixion took place on April 3, Easter Day would be on April 5th.

Research also uncovered another startling fact: they had tacos at the last supper.

They weren't called tacos, they were called hamadahahas, but they are what we consider today to be tacos.

There is no evidence of any hot sauce being used.

Colin Humphreys findings are very important indeed.

It is true that Jesus used the Sun-based calendar, and that is also one of the reasons why the disciples celebrated the Lord's day on the first day of the week - the Sunday!

The New Testament explains the "Lord's day", by telling us that we should keep the Sunday holy in honor of the Resurrection, because Jesus rose on the first day of the week, see John 20:19, and compare with Acts 20:7, and Revelation 1:10.

The Church continues this tradition to this day.

The first day of the week came to be called the Lord’s Day, because that was the day when Christ rose from the dead, see Revelation 1:10.

"And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath", see Mark 2:27.

But Exodus 20:8 says: "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy".

Christ explained it is lawful to do good on the sabbath day, see Matthew 12:12.

But Christ usually rested on the sabbath day in obedience to the commandment.

In Mark 7:8 He said accusingly: "For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men".

Christ actually rose on a Sunday so that He would not break the sabbath commandment.

It seems Christ wanted Christians to keep the commandments, see Matthew 19:17.

The Church should therefore consider to change back the sabbath day to the day which initially was decided by the Lord - the Saturday!

But we should of course always remember the Lord God everyday.

It is ridiculous that different Church denominations celebrate Easter on different days - and obviously they are all wrong!

Easter Day is, or at least should be, the greatest Christian holiday, and it certainly needs a fixed date - April 5th!

Israel National News reports French Foreign Minister Michele Alliot-Marie was attacked by a mob in Gaza.

Her attackers were enraged over statements she had allegedly made supporting human rights for kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

Michele Alliot-Marie met with the parents of Gilad Shalit.

France 24 reports north-east Japan was hit by a 7.1 magnitude aftershock Monday, exactly one month after the massive quake and ensuing tsunami that devastated the region and spawned a still unresolved nuclear crisis.

The US Geological Survey said the aftershock struck 38 km (24 miles) west of the city of Iwaki, at a depth of 13 km (8 miles).

Yahoo! News reports Japan expanded the evacuation zone around its crippled nuclear plant because of high levels of accumulated radiation.

The decision to widen the evacuation band around the Fukushima plant was "based on data analysis of accumulated radiation exposure information", Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told a news conference.

Residents of one village, Iitate, with a population of 5.000 and which is 40 km from the Fukushima Daiichi plant, have been told to prepare for evacuation because of prolonged exposure to radiation, a local official told Reuters by phone.

Engineers at the damaged plant said they were no closer to restoring the plant's cooling system.

Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO), which operates the plant, said workers had stopped pouring cooling water on reactors No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 at Fukushima.

New Car Engine Sends Shock Waves Through Auto Industry

Discovery News reports researchers at Michigan State University have built a prototype gasoline engine that requires no transmission, crankshaft, pistons, valves, fuel compression, cooling systems, or fluids.

Their so-called Wave Disk Generator could greatly improve the efficiency of gas-electric hybrid automobiles and potentially decrease auto emissions up to 90 percent when compared with conventional combustion engines.

The engine has a rotor that's equipped with wave-like channels that trap and mix oxygen and fuel as the rotor spins.

These central inlets are blocked off, building pressure within the chamber, causing a shock wave that ignites the compressed air and fuel to transmit energy.

The Wave Disk Generator uses 60 percent of its fuel for propulsion; standard car engines use just 15 percent.

As a result, the generator is 3.5 times more fuel efficient than typical combustion engines.

Researchers estimate the new model could shave almost 1.000 pounds off a car's weight currently taken up by conventional engine systems.

But fewer parts and more efficiency means fewer jobs, something politicians don't like.

Thus, this great invention will probably end up like the others.

The question is whether this technology will be considered by the bigger car makers.

One guess is that the initial shockwave will soon have turned into oblivion.

Should this engine come into production the gas prices will increase tenfold.

France 24 reports Japan's ambassador to Ivory Coast, Okamura Yoshifumi, is safe after French helicopters evacuated him from his besieged embassy in Abidjan late Wednesday.

Pro-Gbagbo militias had set up heavy weapons on the roof of the Japanese embassy, the French embassy said.

Heavy firefights erupted between French forces and supporters of Ivory Coast strongman Laurent Gbagbo during the evacuation, after forces loyal to internationally recognized President Alassane Ouattara failed to storm Gbagbo's residence.

Gbagbo has refused to step down despite being beaten in an election in November.

He says he won, but the Ivorian election commission found that he lost and the UN certified that result.

French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe says Israel has now asked Paris to extract Israeli diplomats from Abidjan, according to BBC News.

Fukushima Reactor 2 Core Has Melted Through Reactor

Reuters reports the core at Japan's Fukushima nuclear reactor has melted through the reactor pressure vessel, Democratic Congressman Edward Markey told a hearing on the nuclear disaster on Wednesday.

Edward Markey said: "I have been informed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that the core of Unit Two has gotten so hot that part of it has probably melted through the reactor pressure vessel".

Already on Saturday, Tokyo Electric Power Co, operator of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, found that contaminated water had leaked directly into the sea from the pit near reactor number 2.

Yesterday, the operator said it detected 7.5 million times the legal limit of radioactive iodine in seawater collected near a cracked concrete pit at the plant.

I am especially concerned with high levels of radiation getting into the tap water, which the Bible warns will cause the deaths of many.

Unfortunately, there is a possibility of explosions inside the reactor containment structures, due to the release of hydrogen and oxygen from seawater pumped into the reactors.

Margaret Harding, a former reactor designer for General Electric, also warns of aftershocks.

She said: "If I were in the Japanese’s shoes, I’d be very reluctant to have tons and tons of water sitting in a containment whose structural integrity hasn’t been checked since the earthquake".

Experts worry about the fuel pools because explosions have torn away their roofs and exposed their radioactive contents.

By contrast, reactors have strong containment vessels that stand a better chance of bottling up radiation from a meltdown of the fuel in the reactor core.

Much radioactive material is already shed into the environment, as the fuel pool of the No. 4 reactor earlier suffered a hydrogen explosion.

It still seems to be somewhat unclear how much cooling actually is getting to the fuel.

The Daily Mail reports an extraordinary picture resembling Jesus Christ, has been found among booklets in a cave in the hills overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

A tiny booklet, a little smaller than a modern credit card, is sealed on all sides and has a three-dimensional representation of a human head on both the front and the back.

The pictures tell us the booklet was made by early Christians.

One appears to have a beard and the other is without.

Earliest Known Writing In Europe Found In Greece

Los Angeles Times reports archaeologists have found a clay tablet bearing the earliest known writing in Europe.

The tablet is 3.350-years-old and was found in one of the palaces linked to Greece's King Nestor.

The tablet measures 2 inches by 3 inches and has writing on both sides in the Linear B system, which is older than the current alphabet.

This awesome clay tablet was burnt, and therefore it is preserved to this day.

When they speak Swedish I can hear from what part of Sweden they come from, and their French is quite good.

I don't really think anyone likes to travel to foreign countries or to learn foreign languages.

One of my early hobbies was ancient Greek history and the Empire of Alexander the Great.

I have traveled a lot in Greece, and my grandfather was Greek.

When I lived in Manhattan, New York City, 20 years ago, I remember my amazement, when I found several shelves with hundreds of books about Alexander the Great in English at the Barnes and Noble bookstore.

As the French language is a big language, I believe a 17th place in English skills for the French in fact is pretty good.

You will often find people with good language skills among minorities.

From my nine years I lived in Belgium, I remember that people from the German speaking community in Belgium were very popular to hire among companies, just because of their language skills.

They usually speak perfectly the tre official languages of Belgium - French, Dutch, and German - plus have excellent English language skills.

It is however easier to come as a foreigner to France than to Belgium, because here you only have to master French.

I think this is a great initiative by the French President.

Nuclear regulations and the IAEA are presently mostly protections for the nuclear industry.

Had they used seawater early on in Japan to cool the reactors, we probably wouldn't have been in the mess we are in today.

But seawater damages the reactors, and the reactors were considered more valuable than the environment and the Pacific ocean, and that is a problem.

Unfortunately IAEA is a toothless tiger, which did not do much to convince the Japanese government, that the first priority should be the environment and the population, rather than protecting the property of the nuclear reactors per se.

Hopefully, Japan will extend its evacuation zone around the Fukushima nuclear plant, because the spreading of radiation continues due to the raging meltdowns in some of the reactors.

It is odd that the big boss of Tepco disappeared, due to illness according to some or suicide according to others, when he was needed the most.

If someone is a leader, he should not just disappear when needed the most.

Everyone understands that no one could predict both an earthquake and a tsunami of this magnitude at the same time.

When a new car is built, we know a lot of people will die in car crashes with that car.

When new passenger jets are built, we know some of them eventually will crash.

When we build new nuclear power plants, we know some of them also will be subject to accidents.

But this is why we are human.

We must nevertheless advance technology and unity at all costs, because we have a whole universe with new frontiers to conquer.

The Japanese people is a very courageous and disciplined people, and therefore I am sure something good in the end will be the outcome of this terrible disaster at Fukushima.

President Sarkozy's visit to Japan was the first visit by a foreign leader since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami battered north Japan, which has left 28.000 people dead or missing.
