American Budget Crisis Over Debt Ceiling

U.S. President Barack Obama's performance as commander in chief leaves much to be desired, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The U.S. is busted.

That's not primarily because of its foreign policy engagements, which have been a good investment.

It is mainly because America's political leaders have overburdened the productive sector with social obligations that cannot be fulfilled.

The Telegraph wrote Barack Obama warned Republican leaders that they risked tipping the world back into a recession and throwing "millions of more people out of work" unless they could reach a deal with him on increasing the U.S.'s debt.

With a fast-approaching August 2 deadline for the debt ceiling President Obama demands a "balanced" approach of tax increases.

President Obama told Republicans to eat their peas over debt.

White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, said the President is prepared to eat peas "until the cows come home".

Nancy Pelosi is convinced there will not be an agreement on raising the debt ceiling, according to Weekly World News.

Pelosi predicted that the markets collapsing will cause riots and revolutions and then there will be volcanoes, earthquakes, "and the Earth’s core will explode".

Pelosi said, "The Tea Party has ruined the world. When the history of the universe is written, the Tea Party will be the villains that caused the world as we know it to end. The Tea Party, collectively, is Satan".

Pelosi ended her press conference by saying, "have a nice day".
