Frattini: Israel Is The Only Democracy In The Middle East

ANSAmed reports Italy's Foreign Minister Franco Frattini today said Israel is "Italy's best friend in Europe".

I also share the view that the wave of bloodbaths in the Mediterranean region, like the one in Libya, underlines that "Israel is the only real democratic state in the area".

The best way to prevent that Israel's neighboring countries slaughter millions of their own people, is to give Israel back its Biblical borders to the last inch.

Frattini said: "Time has shown that the other partnerships with the West had more to do with convenience and coexistence than with shared values, like the respect for rights".

Frattini emphasized the "shared values" that "unite Israel and Italy and their people" and upon which a "true European action for the Mediterranean" must be founded.

I am happy the E.U. at least has one wise Foreign Minister.

Franco Frattini knows what he talks about.

The Italians should have the permanent Presidency of the European and Mediterranean Union.
