Hundreds Of Bibles Have Been Burned By The Iranian Government Security Forces

Sic et Christus, semel oblatus ad multorum auferenda peccata, secundo sine peccato apparebit exspectantibus se in salutem. (Hebrews 9:28)

This weekend, which I spend in Annemasse, France, and in Geneva, Switzerland, is somewhat cloudy and rainy.

Now I see that Assist News reports hundreds of Bibles have been burned by the Iranian government security forces.

That is unfortunate.

Oriental culture was always superior to European culture, but with Islam and the Koran that changed.

And it was the oriental culture which gave us both the Bible, and Hellenism, both the right for women to inherit through Moses, and the brotherhood of mankind through Alexander the Great.

The perfection then came through Jesus Christ and Christianity.

The Iranian government security forces actually burned all the Bibles already back in May of this year.

The Koran states that the Torah and the Gospels are Holy Scriptures, so the Bible burning seems indeed very odd.

The New Testament was originally written in Latin, and that is a fact which often is forgotten, because the Greeks often were more consistent in defending the Gospels than the Romans.

But history is tragic.

The Greeks didn't want to have anything to do with Jewish religion and told the Jewish High Priest to execute Jesus, which the Romans did.

I look forward to the day when Jesus Christ and the Bible is properly honored, when the Latin language has world dominance, and when Greeks and Jews are globally respected again.
