PA Minister Threatens War Over Jerusalem

Sic et Christus, semel oblatus ad multorum auferenda peccata, secundo sine peccato apparebit exspectantibus se in salutem. (Hebrews 9:28)

Israel National News reports that a week before peace talks in Washington, the Palestinian Authority Religious Affairs Minister warned of war, if Jerusalem is not "returned" to "its owners", and by that he meant Palestinian Arabs.

Mahmoud Al-Habbash declared in a Friday sermon: "Jerusalem can ignite a thousand and one wars".

I believe only God can decide who is the owner of something.

And I believe in the Bible, which clearly states that Jerusalem is His City, which He has given to the Jews.

Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish Kingdom.

I am not Jewish, and I think this obsession some people have with denying what belong to the Jews is very wrong.

Every capital city like Paris, Rome, or Athens, have a lot of immigrants.

They should of course be respected.

But that should not mean that Paris no longer belongs to France, or that Rome no longer belongs to Italy, or that Athens no longer is a Greek city.

It must be the same with Jerusalem.

Almost every chapter in the Bible speaks of Jerusalem.

But Jerusalem is not mentioned even once in the Koran!

Why is it that so many politicians - and also here in the Western world - want to take from the Jews not only their capital city, but also their land?

Is it not because of jealousy?

The Jews are kind, few, small, weak, and poor - and thus easy to unfairly take advantage of.

But they are spiritually rich.

That is why every evil man wants to deprive them of their belongings.

The Jews gave us the Bible, and have thus made the Western world democratic, free, and prosperous.

No one can take my God from me - or from them.

The Jews have also been a blessing to the Arabs.

Why should we not then help the Jews to build their house?

How can anyone be happy, who threatens his brother, and wants to fill his brother's heart with so much sorrow?

"Vos enim in libertatem vocati estis, fratres", Galatians 5:13.
