Netanyahu: Flotilla Raid Was In Self Defense

Jerusalem Post reports Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that commandos who raided the Gaza-bound flotillas, acted in self defense.

Israel wanted to check the cargo to ensure it contained no weapons, Netanyahu said.

Hundreds of people on board one of the ships, beat, clubbed and stabbed soldiers, and there was a report of gunfire.

Then Netanyahu asserted that forced soldiers to attack.

The Israeli forces tried to communicate with the flotilla, according to Donald Douglas on American Power.



But the activists invoked the killing of Jews.



It is very sad that people died.

But Israel has the full right to defend its borders, people, and land.
