Runaway Horse In Stockholm
Quasi aspectus equorum, aspectus eorum; et quasi equites, sic current. (Joel 2:4)
Svenska Dagbladet reports a woman in the mounted guards was thrown off her horse yesterday at Kungsgatan in Stockholm.
The horse - Revär - bolted away and could not be captured until seven kilometers away.
Probably it came too close to a car, got scared, and then threw off its rider.
The rider, a woman in her 20s, was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
She escaped with bumps and scrapes.
Revär let himself be quietly captured, and then went nicely into a carriage that brought him back to the stables for examination.
Runaway horses pose traffic hazard, and sometimes even jump over cars.
The question is now how the Swedish half bred will respond the next time it goes in the mounted guards.
"Videte itaque, fratres, quomodo caute ambuletis, non quasi insipientes sed ut sapientes", Ephesians 5:15.
