Twitter Hit With Second Phishing Attack In A Week
(Romans 15:4)
Yahoo! News reports security experts are warning Twitter users not to click on any links posted with the message: "This you????".
This is the second phishing attack this week against Twitter users.
Both attacks direct victims to a fake log-in page.
If a user provides the log-in credentials, the attackers have control over the user's account and can retweet the phishing message from that account.
If phishing victims also use that same password on other web sites, which 33 percent of users do, the attackers can access Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook, eBay, PayPal, and so forth.
Phishing victims should change their passwords immediately.
