Swine Flu Epidemic - Now Global

(Luke 21:11)

Twenty cases of swine flu have been confirmed in the United States, and Europe has also got its first swine flu case, in Spain.

As the United States stepped up preparations for a possible swine flu epidemic, Canada confirmed its first cases of swine flu on Sunday, according to CNN.

The current outbreak of swine flu in Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Europe, seems to be the result of the introduction of a human-engineered pathogen that could result in a widespread global pandemic, with potentially catastrophic consequences for domestic and international travel and commerce.

Let us hope the size of seriousness of this outbreak is going to be limited.

This thing is starting to worry me a little bit, few days ago I thought it was just something the media made into a huge deal but now it seems like a pretty big deal for real. Lets hope we don't have a Captain Trips coming...

Yes, Lorne, I agree.

I really hope the swine flu will be contained soon.

Thanks for commenting.
