Michelle Ryan To Play Jade Goody

Qui etiam Filio suo non pepercit, sed pro nobis omnibus tradidit illum, quomodo non etiam cum illo omnia nobis donabit? (Romans 8:32)

Daily Star reports Michelle Ryan is being lined up to play tragic Jade Goody in a film of her life.

The 24-year-old ex-EastEnder, who appeared in US show The Bionic Woman in 2007, is top of the list to star in the biographical movie.

The film, which could net millions, will focus on Jade’s meteoric rise to stardom, beginning with her tough upbringing on a council estate in south-east London.

It will follow her through the years of being a dental nurse, applying for Big Brother and later bagging TV deals, writing books and getting her own perfume.

It will have the saddest of endings, with her bittersweet wedding to Jack Tweed and her christening alongside sons Bobby, five, and Freddy, four.

Film producers say her story is sure to be a blockbuster after she won the hearts of the British public in her seven years of fame.

Close pal Danny Hayward, who is a trustee of Jade’s estate, said: "Her story lends itself to a biographical film. She has captured the mood of the nation. We want to tap into raising awareness of cervical cancer".

Last night Jade’s publicist Max Clifford, 65, said: "She is a story of our time - a girl from Bermondsey who admitted she had no talent, a limited education and suffered a dreadful childhood. Yet she’s world-famous".

Meanwhile, comic Russell Brand posted a heartfelt tribute to Jade on his website yesterday.

The 33-year-old posted a lengthy dedication to the reality star, dubbing her the "Primark Princess".

Brand praised her "easy warmth that ingenuously enveloped folk".

Brand wrote: "Jade was a tough girl but utterly lacking in the malice upon which true prejudice depends. I hope some of the lessons of this modern fairytale are learned, that the people who aspired to be like Jade observe the price she paid".

Myself I remember I had a beautiful neighbor more than 10 years ago, who was diagnosticed with cancer.

Three weeks after she was diagnosticed with cancer she died, only 33 years old. She was always happy, positive, and smiling.

Cancer is a terrible disease.
